The KSU Office of Strategic Management, under the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), will provide strategic planning implementation support through project management and continuous improvement.  The office will have a dotted line reporting to the Strategic Implementation Committee, selected by the president of the university.  The work done by the unit will include projects assigned by the system office, as well as those within the academic, administrative, enrollment, financial, and student affairs units of KSU.

These projects will be directly linked to the strategic direction of the university and will include university level projects that span multiple units within the organization.  The office will also offer continuous improvement support through the management of the administrative effectiveness program and process improvement initiatives.  This work will be done with an alignment to SACSCOC standards 7.1 (institutional planning) and 7.3 (administrative effectiveness).
